What is Picklesburgh?
As the unofficial pickle capital of America (Heinz food is headquartered here after all) Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania hosts an annual celebration of all things pickled! The event is filled with food vendors serving up all sorts of pickled delights – from juicy burgers with plenty of pickles on top to gourmet fudge – featuring, dill pickles!
For true pickle lovers, there is a pickle juice drinking contest and for the rest of us, plenty of live music and pickle-themed entertainment including pickling demonstrations!

The event is free, with food and drink available for purchase. This event is family-friendly and includes a range of child-friendly activities.
Did You Know?
Americans LOVE pickles! They eat about 9 pounds of pickles, per person, per year (say that three times quickly!) That is roughly 26 BILLION pickles!
