What is the Lord Mayor's Show?

The Lord Mayor's Show is one of the most famous and best-loved annual events in London that has a history of more than 800 years.

Over 6,000 people take part in this enormous procession, which features dozens of marching bands, horse-drawn carriages, military bands, colorful floats, incredible dance troupes and ceremonial displays.

The processional route spans over three miles in London, from Bank to Aldwych, making it the world’s oldest and longest of its kind. It's a visual spectacle that is full of pomp and ceremony, showcasing London's rich history and tradition as well as its cultural diversity.

Look out for the festival zones with food stalls, exhibitions, live entertainment and fair rides. This wonderful event is a great day out for the whole family with plenty of activities and exciting entertainment.
