What is the Little River ShrimpFest?

The Little River ShrimpFest is held every fall at the Historic Little River Waterfront in Little River, South Carolina.

This much-loved festival attracts over 22,000 members of the local community and beyond who gather to enjoy a weekend of live music and great seafood.

The festival is suitable for the whole family and there is something for everyone to enjoy including two stages of live music, a children's area, face painting, stilt walkers, balloon artists, and over 150 different vendors, who will be selling a variety of arts and crafts items. 

It wouldn't be called 'ShrimpFest' if it wasn't for the incredibly fresh local seafood that is served by the local waterfront restaurants. It's a real highlight of the festival.

There's no better way to spend a perfect fall weekend with family and friends than at the Little River ShrimpFest.

Need to know

Tickets can be purchased in advance online. Children 12 and under go free. This event will go ahead come rain or shine so check the local weather report before attending so you can prepare accordingly.

Did you know?

You can take a water taxi  to the festival which can be boarded from Harbourgate Marina. Space on the boats is first come first served.
