What is Juliet's Birthday?

The story of star-crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet is one of Shakespeare's more romantic and tragic stories that still captures the hearts and minds of people today. The story is set in Verona, Italy and every year the city celebrates the birthday of one of Shakespeare's most famous fictional characters, Juliet.

Revelers roam the streets of Verona dressed in romantic period costumes to celebrate the occasion. Festivities include parades of the infamous Courts of the Montagues and Capulets, dancing, street artists, musicians, and lots of good food.

If you are fortunate enough to be in Verona during the festival, there will be plenty of memorable photo opportunities and a chance to go back in time for what promises to be a day filled with romance and magic.

An event not to be missed!
