What is the Goodwood Revival?
The Goodwood Revival is an annual celebration of the history and romance of vintage motor racing. The four-day event takes place at the historic 3.8km/2.4 mile racing circuit at Goodwood Estate in West Sussex. The event is attended by motorsport celebrities and the best historic motor racing drivers.
While vintage motor races are at the heart of the revival, there are a huge range of events and activities for the whole family to enjoy. There is a Revival High Street, swing and jive dancing, a traditional fairground as well as vintage car and aviation shows.
Need to Know
While not compulsory, attendees are encouraged to embrace the ‘vintage’ theme of the event and wear clothing of a 1940s -1960s style. If you really want to get the vintage feel, there is a hair salon where you can book an appointment and there is also a daily best dressed competition. Please note, for those with access to the Central Paddock ladies must wear a dress or suit and gentlemen a jacket and tie.
Did You Know?
There are strictly no modern cars allowed within the circuit on race days. It is also the only event of its kind that takes place in period dress.
