As soon as Seychelles welcomes the month of October, excitement for the Creole Festival, a week-long celebration that is bursting with colors, sounds and aromas, starts to build.
The Creole Festival, which has been in existence since 1985, takes place on Mahe, Praslin and La Digue, with the aim to showcase and celebrate the different aspects of Seychellois culture.
It celebrates everything Creole, including their arts, crafts, music, dance and food.
