Presented by the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Dance Africa is the largest festival of its kind in the United States.
Guests can enjoy musical performances and art as well as attend master classes where participants can learn about African music and dance traditions.
The performances include other traditional and contemporary dance companies, including the students of BAM and live music.
The weekend-long festival also includes master classes, community events, film screenings, an art exhibition, and the one-and-only DanceAfrica outdoor bazaar, a global marketplace of African and Caribbean arts, crafts, and food featuring over 200 vendors.
