The African American Dance Ensemble or AADE organizes the annual Kwanzaafest event in Durham.
Celebrated since 1986, Kwanzaa was derived from the Swahili phrase “matunda ya kwanza,” meaning “first fruits of the harvest.”
This family-friendly event will include entertainment by local and regional artists. Bring the entire family for a day of Unity, Culture and Community Development.
